You should know that this is an upgraded and longer-lasting version of the first, classic Sumptuous Mascara. Both mascaras add striking volume thanks to the intense color, sexy curl and thickening.

There’s no point in writing too much about it. A classic, simple, silver tube with a gold stripe below the cap. There are nice writings on the tube. The packaging of Sumptuous Waterproof Bold Volume Lifting is fancy, comfy and durable.

I have no objections towards the effects. With every layer applied, the mascara extends, curls and makes the lashes strikingly black. I can’t complain about the durability either. I’ve tested the product in heat, rain, at the seaside, swimming pools, in the shower and all smudge-friendly places. The mascara stays on lashes untouched, flake-free and doesn’t disappear throughout the day. Estēe Lauder Mascara is truly long-wearing. Sadly this is a mixed blessing which means problematic removal. It’s the thing that gets me down most in the mascara. Before buying Estēe Lauder Sumptuous Waterproof Bold Volume Lifting, you must get yourself a strong bi-phase remover. Taking the mascara off takes a while and can take away some of the lashes, too (due to harsh rubbing). Nevertheless, it’s a perfect special-mission product. The formula, price and applicator are fine yet nothing exceptional. The durability is second to none, though.
